Flathead Valley Directory
Submission summary version 1.0, effective May 11, 2026
When you check the acceptance box on the submission form, you agree to four separate policies that together govern your listing and your use of the Flathead Valley Directory. This page summarizes each of them in plain English, with links to the full text. The four policies are the Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, the Listing Guidelines, and the Submission Agreement.
If you would rather see each document on its own, the links below open the complete text. The summaries on this page are for orientation only; the linked documents are the authoritative versions.
Plain-English summary. The Terms of Service are the general rules of using the Flathead Valley Directory. They cover who can use it, what you can and cannot do, who owns what content, the disclaimer of warranties, the limitation on liability, what state's law applies (Montana), and how disputes are handled (Flathead County, Montana).

Plain-English summary. The Privacy Policy describes what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with (a short list of service providers like Supabase, Netlify, Resend, and OpenStreetMap), how long we keep it, and your rights under Montana's Consumer Data Privacy Act. We do not sell personal information.

Plain-English summary. The Listing Guidelines explain how we curate the directory. They cover who can be listed, what counts as acceptable content, language we will not publish (including fair housing rules that affect real estate-adjacent businesses), photo standards, how listings are ordered (alphabetical, no paid placement), and how we handle real-estate-adjacent categories like lenders, title companies, and inspectors.
Read the full document: Listing Guidelines (current version: 1.1).
Plain-English summary. The Submission Agreement is the contract specifically about your listing. It covers your warranty that you are authorized to represent the business, the license you grant us to display your content, your accuracy and image-ownership commitments, our editorial rights, and what happens if a claim is made against your listing.

When you accept these documents at submission, the version in effect at that moment is the version that binds your listing. We record the version of each document, the time of acceptance, and a hashed record of your IP address. If we later publish a material change to any of these documents, we will let you know and ask you to review and re-accept the updated version on your next sign-in or before your next listing edit.
If you have questions about any of these documents before you accept them, contact us at clint@skyvaultmedia.co. You can also reach Granite Ridge Realty by phone at 406-471-3845. We would rather answer questions up front than have a listing submitted by someone who is uncertain about what they are agreeing to.
